About the role: We are looking for a strategic, hands-on VP of Finance to join Numeral as a foundational leader. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the full financial strategy and execution across the company. This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial backbone of a fast-scaling startup, lead future fundraising efforts, and partner closely with leadership to drive the business forward. Responsibilities: Lead Numeral's financial strategy, including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation. Develop and refine financial models and systems that ensure smart, scalable growth. Oversee international entity setup and ensure global financial compliance. Implement and manage outsourced finance functions (fractional accounting/controller, AP/AR) and build scalable internal processes. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, BizOps, and Leadership to guide financial decision-making. Lead investor relations and fundraising efforts, working closely with the CEO and board. Qualifications: 10+ years of finance experience with 3+ years in a finance leadership role at an early-stage B2B SaaS startup (Series A or similar). Strong experience in FP&A, strategic finance, and financial modeling (beyond pure accounting). Background in banking, private equity, or venture-backed finance environments. Demonstrated success in scaling 0-1 systems and managing ambiguity. Experience with international finance and entity management. Effective cross-functional collaborator, able to influence without formal authority. Bonus Points For: Familiarity with sales tax compliance, SaaS metrics, RevOps, and revenue recognition.
