Job Description

**Who We Are** Tatcha is a skincare brand rooted in timeless Japanese wisdom, offering transformative yet kind-to-skin formulas that marry Japanese botanicals with clinical ingredients. Our formulation philosophy is informed by the Japanese concept hinou dokon, which means “skin-mind same root”—an acknowledgement of the powerful connection between the skin and the brain. Guided by the mission to care for people through their skin, Tatcha takes a holistic approach to skincare from concept to formulation to clinical evaluation, offering skincare rituals that benefit both skin and mind, while emphasizing the importance of mindfulness to skin health. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Supply Chain to drive the next evolution in our demand and supply planning processes while ensuring the seamless execution of day-to-day operations. This role will focus on optimizing forecasting, planning, distribution and inventory management practices, implementing best-in-class systems and solutions, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration. Reporting to the CFO, the ideal candidate is both a visionary thinker and a pragmatic leader -- someone who can successfully drive transformation initiatives while developing and mentoring a team of strong leaders. In this highly influential role, you’ll guide not only our supply chain strategy but also future leadership to enable Tatcha’s growth. You’ll play a central role in scaling our supply chain capabilities to support growth and deliver exceptional service across our operations. **Key Responsibilities** Supply Chain Leadership

  • Guide the strategic direction of the demand and supply planning teams, ensuring forecast accuracy, robust inventory management, and proactive supply planning.
  • In partnership with the Sr. Director of Global Sourcing and Operations, develop scalable procurement and global sourcing methodologies, along with executing supply planning strategies, that ensure product availability, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory levels across all product categories.
  • Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective transportation and deliveries; work closely with third-party logistics providers to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
  • Optimize warehousing, including storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. Monitor inventory levels to minimize excess.
  • Drive effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and serve as a key stakeholder in the development of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) capabilities.
Data-Driven Process & Technology Focus
  • Advance our Supply Chain processes through the adoption of advanced planning tools, analytics, and process automation to increase forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements, managing change effectively across teams and functions.
  • Establish and maintain Supply Chain best practices and governance frameworks to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels, using insights to implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a data-driven culture where planning decisions are grounded in analytics, business intelligence, and market trends.
Team Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with senior leadership and collaborate with stakeholders in sales, marketing, product, procurement, finance, and IT to align planning strategies with business objectives.
  • Mentor and develop experienced leaders within the supply chain function, building depth in leadership capability and preparing the team for future growth.
  • Champion transparency and alignment across the organization, ensuring that supply chain strategies and objectives are clearly communicated and widely supported.
  • Communicate the supply chain roadmap, progress, and impact to stakeholders at all levels.
**Qualifications**
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, with a strong track record of success and process optimization
  • Strategic thinker and proactive leader with a passion for supply chain excellence and process innovation
  • Deep expertise in demand and supply planning, distribution and S&OP/IBP processes
  • Strong understanding of ERP & advanced planning systems; familiarity with AI/ML forecasting tools and digital transformation initiatives is a plus
  • Proven experience developing senior-level leaders and fostering strong leadership pipelines
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills
  • Experience in consumer goods, especially beauty or wellness, is a plus but not required
