We are a growing, privately owned veterinary hospital in High Point, NC, seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager that is looking to grow to help lead our team and drive the continued success of our practice. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise and support clinic staff including reception, assistants, and technicians

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment

  • Conduct staff meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing training/coaching

  • Serve as a liaison between staff and ownership to ensure clear communication and shared goals

Operations & Administration:

  • Oversee day-to-day hospital operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

  • Monitor scheduling to ensure adequate staffing and patient flow

  • Handle payroll coordination, onboarding, and basic HR functions

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulations

Client Service & Communication:

  • Uphold a high standard of customer service and client communication

  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills

  • Ensure staff is trained and supported in delivering consistent, quality service

Inventory & Financial Oversight:

  • Manage inventory ordering, stock levels, and vendor relationships

  • Monitor budget-related items including cost control and inventory tracking

  • Assist in financial reporting, including reviewing revenue, expenses, and productivity metrics

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of veterinary, healthcare, or small business management experience (required)

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency with veterinary software systems (AviMark) and Microsoft Office (preferred)

  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

  • Passion for animals and commitment to patient- and client-centered care
