Scope:
Ensure the accurate reconciliation and balancing of all hotel income and expenses during the 24-hour operating period.
Primary Responsibilities:
Accurately audit and reconcile room revenue, food and beverage sales, and telephone charges.
Verify and balance room and tax charges, cashier reports, and guest/house accounts for accuracy.
Prepare and distribute daily management and accounting reports, including customer tracking, market segmentation, and food and beverage revenue reports.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and share relevant financial information.
Perform Guest Service Representative duties as needed, including booking reservations, handling incoming calls, and delivering guest messages.
Maintain security of department keys and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring follow-up and guest satisfaction.
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel’s standards of conduct and dress.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures; may serve as Manager on Duty during designated shifts.
