Summary The Marketing Manager - social responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the performance of Social Media campaigns, Influencer campaigns, and advertising campaigns, and developing and executing strategic marketing plans to promote the brand and its products. He/she is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the social media strategy across multiple platforms to grow brand presence, engage diverse audiences, and support marketing and sales goals. This role requires deep familiarity with the cannabis industry's regulatory landscape, creative storytelling, and a passion for community engagement. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing social media in regulated or lifestyle industries and understands how to create content that is compelling, on-brand, and compliant Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door Develop and manage the social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) Create original content (photo, video, captions) tailored for each platform and aligned with brand voice Monitor, moderate, and respond to community engagement in a timely and brand-appropriate manner Track social media metrics and KPIs, producing regular performance reports and actionable insights Coordinate with marketing, retail, compliance, and creative teams to support product launches, campaigns, and in-store activations Stay informed on federal, state, and platform-specific compliance guidelines related to cannabis advertising and ensure all content adheres to them Engage with influencers and cannabis community leaders to amplify brand reach Leverage paid social media opportunities in compliance with platform and legal regulations Identify and adopt emerging social trends and technologies relevant to the cannabis audience Manage and maintain Meta Business Suite, TikTok for Business, and other relevant publishing and analytics tools Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis Partner with internal and external stakeholders to produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors Assist with the management of the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure. Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures , and performance standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages a total of 1-10 employees in the Marketing Department. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
