ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Event Security for ASM Global Stockton Complex. This position is responsible for patrolling our venues during events, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and vendors while on premise. You may also be responsible for securing property during load in/out for events at our venues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include enforcing building security and safety rules, wanding, visual searches and/or pat downs of guests, standing guard during events, touring post periodically to ensure safety, providing event security in front of house (stage) and back of house, handling disturbances or problems during events, escorting disruptive individuals off premises if necessary, maintaining professionalism and verbal skills to prevent escalation, writing incident reports, assisting with crowd control, and maintaining a clean, neat appearance. There are no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications include possessing a valid guard card and California driver’s license, with employment based on experience, aptitude, abilities and training. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical demands include standing or walking for several continuous hours and assisting in lifting patrons if needed. The salary range is $16.00 per hour.
