Job Description

Who We Are Tatcha is a skincare brand rooted in timeless Japanese wisdom, offering transformative yet kind-to-skin formulas that marry Japanese botanicals with clinical ingredients. Our formulation philosophy is informed by the Japanese concept hinou dokon, which means “skin-mind same root”—an acknowledgement of the powerful connection between the skin and the brain. Guided by the mission to care for people through their skin, Tatcha takes a holistic approach to skincare from concept to formulation to clinical evaluation, offering skincare rituals that benefit both skin and mind, while emphasizing the importance of mindfulness to skin health. Job Summary As the Demand Planning Manager you will lead the demand planning efforts for our North America wholesale channels and will be responsible for the creation of accurate SKU-level retail and gross sales forecasts while maintaining optimal inventory levels in collaboration with our retailer partners. Reporting to the Director, Demand Planning, this role plays a crucial part in helping the company meet financial goals by leveraging strong planning, analytical insights, and OTB (Open to Buy) management. Success in this role requires close coordination with teams across Supply Chain, Commercial/Sales, Finance, and Marketing. We are seeking a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Actively manage SKU-level, data-driven demand forecasts for North American wholesale channels, utilizing historical data, market trends, and supply chain inputs, in partnership with Tatcha’s commercial teams. The role will require regular analysis of both product sell-in and sell-out data to identify key growth drivers and optimize forecast accuracy in alignment with marketing initiatives and promotional strategies. Cultivate strong working relationships with internal teams (Commercial/Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain) and external retail partners. Ensure open communication to align on demand expectations, identify opportunities, and address potential risks. On a monthly cadence, you will be required to lead the S&OP process for your designated channels and product categories, ensuring that forecasts align with broader company objectives and that key insights are shared with the broader organization. Collaborate with key cross-functional Teams (Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Commercial/Sales) to incorporate channel expansions, new product launches, and existing product transitions into demand forecasts. Drive alignment to ensure seamless introductions across your channels. Partner closely with the supply chain team to identify any supply constraints or risks related to excess inventory, and work with the commercial teams to develop effective resolutions. Regularly report findings and insights to senior leadership across key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of demand planning, leading to balanced inventory levels, reduced stockouts or overstocking, and maintaining high service levels. Continually drive for greater process efficiency and optimization in both your function and across the organization to deliver better outcomes. Execute ad hoc projects as needed to support Tatcha’s Business. Who You Are You are someone who leads by example, takes ownership and accountability of your work, and can build strong cross-functional relationships. To succeed in this position, the following qualities are paramount: Quick learner and independent problem solver. Strong relationship builder and generates buy-in from cross-functional partners. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
