Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate coverage on sophisticated insurance products.
• Hire and manage counsel for coverage evaluation and defense.
• Assess damages with outside experts.
• Evaluate financial impacts for AIG and insureds.
• Develop strategies for favorable claim resolutions and negotiate with insureds and third parties.
• Advise business partners on exposures and product changes.
• Guide claims and business leaders on emerging risks.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Legal, Insurance, Construction Defect, or Environmental fields preferred.
• Ability to handle complex claims involving GL and Environmental policies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, and investigation skills.

Additional Information

For Jersey City, NJ, the salary range is $105,000-$122,000, with eligibility for a bonus and comprehensive benefits.
