How You Will Create An Impact AIG Programs is a leading underwriter of Program business in the U.S., addressing niche markets on both admitted and non-admitted bases. Lexington Insurance, AIG’s Excess & Surplus Line carrier, provides flexible insurance solutions for various enterprises. For over 50 years, Lexington has been a leader in the E&S market, offering broad casualty risk appetite, underwriting expertise, and dedicated claims handling services. The Complex Director within the Lexington and AIG Programs team is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating nationwide general and auto liability claims, maintaining high customer service standards. Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims, including those with unique coverages. Contact insureds promptly and follow up to complete reserves and claims resolution. Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and establish reserves. Manage case diaries for efficient resolution. Communicate updates to stakeholders and attend mediations. Participate in strategy discussions and manage litigation processes for timely outcomes. Property and casualty licenses are required within 3 months of hire. What You’ll Need To Succeed 7+ years of general and auto liability claim experience. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Experience resolving moderate to high severity injury claims. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in teams, remotely or in-office. Strong decision-making skills and knowledge of claim handling procedures. Experience with self-insured retentions, surplus lines, and MGAs is a plus. Multi-state adjuster licenses are a plus.
