Our client, is seeking a Bank and Corporate Owned Life Insurance (BOLI/COLI) Auditor to join their team. As a Bank and Corporate Owned Life Insurance (BOLI/COLI) Auditor, you will be part of the Audit Services department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Bank and Corporate Owned Life Insurance (BOLI/COLI) Auditor Location: Remote Pay Range: $70.00/hour - $80.00/hour What's the Job? Conducting thorough audits of BOLI and COLI policies. Conduct thorough audits of life and death claims to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Analyze claims documentation, including medical records, death certificates, policy terms, and beneficiary details, to validate eligibility and payment. Identify and investigate potential fraud, discrepancies, or irregularities in claims processing. Provide detailed audit findings and recommendations to enhance accuracy and efficiency in claims handling. Collaborate with claims examiners, underwriters, and legal teams to resolve complex claims issues. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including state and federal laws governing life insurance claims. Develop and maintain audit checklists, procedures, and reports to support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training and mentorship to junior auditors and claims staff to promote best practices. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, insurance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in life insurance claims auditing, processing, or a related role. Proven experience in auditing or financial analysis Strong understanding of life insurance products In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, claims processes, and regulatory compliance requirements. Certification in insurance or auditing (e.g., FLMI, AIC) is a plus. What's in it for me?
